Trolls World Tour Family Movie Night! (Recipes & Free Printables!)

When quarantine started, I kind of stopped sharing my movie night posts because it seemed silly since every hour of every day had become family movie night, HA. BUT.. I have waited since April to watch this movie, I mean my kids have. Not me, a grown adult. However, I couldn’t afford the 19.99 price tag at the time with all the cut backs to work and doubling our family size all within a week or two. So, not so patiently, I have waited for this movie to come to Redbox where I could rent it for a 1.80 and I could not be more excited. So, let’s get into this fun family movie night!

For this particular dinner, we will be putting together a fun, rainbow-y (is that a word?) snack board. I don’t have a photo yet, because I haven’t made mine yet, but I will come back and update this post when I do.

Here’s some suggestions:

salami, cheese, sugar snap peas, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, small oranges, strawberry pocky sticks, princess or rainbow colored goldfish crackers, watermelon. I’ve also noticed grocery stores carrying some adorable Trolls themed snacks like these small tea cakes I grabbed for the boys for “tea time.” That was back around the film’s initial release, so I want to see if there’s any of those things still around in stores. I’d suggest just keeping your snack dinner very bright and cheerful, a little out of the ordinary and hopefully you’ll notice your kids trying some new fruits and veggies too!

My son’s birthday is coming up, so I may spring for a family Trolls LEGO set to build together. Mostly for myself, because its all pink and adorable and I’m excited. Most of the LEGO bricks we have here are not pink and adorable. However, if I don’t do that I’m going to print these adorable activities out for us to do together. The last time I had free printables like this, I had the kids do them to earn a “movie ticket.” They actually really thought that was so fun.

This is an interactive 44 page book with activities, coloring sheets, games, recipes, and even home decorations all available for free! Just click this link, and head over for free printable goodness!
