The Best Place To Stay In Orlando For A Multi-Resort Vacation!

March 24, 2019

Disclosure: We are so grateful to Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive for hosting us for two nights and allowing us to truly experience the place to conduct this review and provide you guys with an exclusive 20% code for your stay!

We had the opportunity to stay at the Wyndham during Spring Break week. It worked out so well as we had friends visiting from Indiana, so it was a treat to head down to Orlando for a couple days for more of a laid back trip. We decided to do LEGOLAND this trip, because we all wanted to see the water park. Tip: Wyndham is actually next door to the LEGOLAND shuttle. I believe I saw that it is 5.00 per person and runs once a day.

We were thrilled to get down to the quiet, serene, and spacious Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive. (VERY close to Universal, and they even offer a FREE shuttle to Universal and SeaWorld! That’s HUGE, because you can cut out parking costs there! YAY!)
I was very thrilled with the location, walkable to Starbucks, the fanciest McDonald’s I have ever seen, and so many great stores. Not to mention, you are walking distance from quality, family entertainment like: Orlando ICON 360, Skeletons:Museum of Osteology, and SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. We weren’t able to squeeze in the Aquarium, but we did visit their small tanks outside the bathroom and even those were neat.

The ICON 360 provides such a unique, beautiful view of the city. The kids loved that! However, they were most impressed with the scavenger hunt at the Skeletons! My readers know how much my kids love to fish, so they were standing their by fish area for a solid twenty minutes. They loved it. I wanted to also note they have a baby/toddler play area in the museum! (and kids under 3 are free!)

I just felt like this would be the PERFECT location if you’re planning a longer stay as a family and want to explore 1 or 2 of the area parks. The location was super central, and our room even offered bunk beds with a private television for the kids. I thought we had more than enough space to unwind after being on our feet all day exploring the parks. Not to mention, the kids just thought the bunk beds were a cool touch!

I can always appreciate accommodations that give us activities for the kid’s wiggles while we were in a new place. They have multiple NEAT pool areas, and even have a playground.

They also have an onsite restaurant, because I’ve heard they have a great breakfast buffet. Our kids were too interested in the giant McDonald’s next door, so we didn’t get the chance to eat there. Here’s hoping you guys have better luck!
