Can I be honest here? I feel like finding quality movies is so hard, so I wanted to take a second and compile a list of some of the better quality ones we’ve watched recently. I like to schedule which one movie we will watch so I can plan an EASY themed meal (or pizza!) Hopefully, this will help you add some fun, wholesome, movies to make your regular movie nights as a family a little higher quality and more fun!

Cheaper By The Dozen was incredible. I absolutely loved this movie. We loved the other versions so I knew we’d watch this one, but the modern twist was so wonderful. There was adoption, foster care, modern conflicts. It was light hearted and entertaining.

American Underdog– this movie was so fabulous. I didn’t know what to expect, because I wasn’t really familiar with Kurt Warner, but this man’s life was so inspiring and such an inspirational movie. I laughed a ton, I cried a little. We all absolutely loved it.

Speaking of football movies, this is an older one that we just watched recently called, Facing The Giants. I cried and cried and cried. It was so inspiring.

Secondhand Lions– we watched this recently, and my boys have asked several times to rewatch it. It was so hilarious and sweet. Lots of lessons in there, too. It’s a 10 for me.

Because of Winn- Dixie– this is one we read the book first and then watched the movie. I absolutely loved it!
