This year, Sawyer’s birthday party looked a little different for me. We moved here seven weeks ago! I had no clue if we’d know anyone we could invite or if our home would be ready for hosting. So, as we began to feel settled and meet such fabulous people and friends. I knew a birthday party had to happen. So, I connected with Oriental Trading and they let me pick some adorable goodies from their Paw Patrol line! I have always loved Oriental Trading, they have EVERYTHING. From products you need for church, to wedding supplies, party decorations and favors. They truly are a one stop shop, plus their prices are insanely affordable!
I basically decided my vision was to have some delicious toddler brunch inspired snacks for the kids, decorate my garage door, and let the kids get crazy! They played water balloons and ran around like crazy people, and everyone had a blast. The parents sipped mimosas and ate cupcakes. It was the perfect way to kick off Saturday.
Oriental Trading had some of the cutest details I was thrilled to incorporate. I love the background for the table. It really helped me transform my backyard into Adventure Bay. Sawyer loved having Paw Patrol Candles, it was so cute. I stuck one on his actual birthday donuts and another on his birthday cupcake, he was in heaven. He loved it!
I try to get a big silver number balloon every year! I’m imagining doing a big frame with photos of him 1-18 to send to college with him someday.
Aside from all the adorable goodness I got from Oriental Trading (balloons, table cloth, decorations, silverware, plates, cups, napkins.) I also got the party favors on Amazon. The cape and masks combos you seen below! The kids loved them, and I really wanted to incorporate capes into Sawyer’s birthday party, because he loves them. I also got the darling cupcakes from Fred Meyer! I have to tell you I was so impressed with how they turned out, I was struggling to find someone to do a cake or cupcakes of Paw Patrol because of copyrights. When Fred Meyer said they could make me 25 with these cute rings for 19.99, I said SIGN ME UP. They did an awesome job, even including a cute little paw print on each cupcake. It worked out really, really. My cupcake stand was Oriental Trading made the cupcakes look even more delectable!
