My Favorite Snacks For Kids’ Sporting Events!

October 4, 2019

The boys are pretty heavy into sports these days! So far they’ve tried flag football, soccer, and TKD. They’ve been known to spend their weekends fishing along the shore, or playing flag football on their small team. Over the last couple years I’ve found that some things work perfectly for feeding the team and other things are simply a flop! So, today, I wanted to spend just a little time sharing a few ideas for mastering the team snack without stressing yourself or your wallet!

So, for the sake of germs and being mindful of teammates who have allergies (and would value seeing the ingredient list.) This list is compromise of individually packaged items! Here are some of our favorites:

GoGoSqueez Apple Sauce Packets-
– we aren’t brand specific very often, but my kids are team gogosqueez all the way.

Mandarin oranges

Bananas

G2 by Gatorade– I like to just grab the small size.

Mini Water Bottles

Lara Bars Kids — my kids love the chocolate chip flavor!

Clif Kid bars- they love every flavor of these. I recommend grabbing these from Costco if you can!

Babybel cheese— I love when they do the theme packaging like for Halloween or the Toy Story 4 release.

Mozzarella cheese sticks– I just grab these from Aldi.

Pirate’s Booty— probably my go to for snacks when there’s kids involved.

Stonyfield yogurt- My boys love the stick kind and the “smoothie” variation.

Hopefully, this gives you a little inspiration for yummy snacks to bring in the next time you’re snack parent. I like to order online for pick up when I can!

I’d love to hear from you guys, if you have a favorite sport snacks. Comment below and let me know!
