Our family arrives on Wednesday! I’m so excited to see them. I’m keeping our meals light and easy this week so we can focus on eating together, rather than the stress of meal preparation and planning!
On Wednesday, we have to drive an hour to pick up our family. So, I’m going to throw my favorite soup into the slow cooker. It’ll be warm and ready for us when we return home.
Thursday- we will be celebrating my husband’s post Christmas birthday with a beautiful steak dinner at our favorite restaurant!
Friday- we will be making homemade sushi with dumplings and egg drop soup!
Saturday- In the spirit of Christmas Eve, we will have a Bulgogi (my favorite and so, so simple to make Korean beef. It is very sweet and salty.) We will also be making cookies this night. Recipe to follow!
Sunday- For Christmas, we will ham a honey baked ham with sides. Mashed potatoes, bacon wrapped dates, devilled eggs, rolls, loaded sweet potatoes, and some sort of dessert to be determined.
I’m also planning to make some special snacks: peanut butter fudge, caramel popcorn, sausage, fruit and cheese trays.
