May is such a special month. Our first foster care awareness month as foster parents! Mother’s day occurs in May, a personal favorite. We also love to make Asian Pacific Heritage Month special in our home. We do our best to share some new traditions with friends, but it doesn’t look like we will be able to do that this year as a navigate social distancing. With social distancing in full effect, I thought it would be perfect to launch a new series on the blog– each month, I’ll share some of my favorites from Amazon.

Instant Family— this is available for free on Amazon Prime Video. This is a great movie with a wonderful cast. I really enjoyed watching it with my husband, and thought it shined some light on some serious foster care issues with humor mixed in.

Fresh off the boat– The book and the show. 10/10 I love!

Love Without Borders- I read this book in less than 24 hours, it was wonderful. This Gathered Nest tells her beautiful journey to life with eight kids from around the world. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Popcornopolis– I have become something of a popcorn expert since quarantine. I love this jalapeno cheddar flavor they have!

Knotted headbands— I keep sharing these, because they make me feel so put together, with very little effort!

Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer And Volumizer Hot Air Brush– This had been suggested to me so many times, and I’m so glad I finally broke down and bought one. It makes my hair look and feel amazing. Well worth it’s price tag (under 60 bucks.)

Magnetic eyelashes– I had been considering getting some of those eyelash extensions, but those were so spendy. I wanted to try some reusable eyelashes before making the investment. These work so well, easy to apply, and look incredible.

This incredible gingham dress– it’s so flattering, well made, and perfect for summer.

A foldable sunhat visor— This fits in my beach bag so easily and looks great! I love it because I can wear my hair in a high pony tail while wearing it.

Inflatable pool for the kids
