Lent Recipes!

March 8, 2017

It is that time of year again, when all Catholic people wake up on Friday morning and fry up sausage or cut a piece of left casserole and realize that it is a day of fasting.

During Lent, many religions give up meat on Fridays.  So, I thought I would share my easy-peasy ways to avoid meat and eat deliciously.

Smoked Salmon

Tuna boats on cucumber

Steamed Scallops

Grilled Shrimp (love with parsnips)

Tuna Casserole

Shrimp Po’ Boys

Clam Chowder

Lobster Bisque

Penne with Parmesan cheese and olive oil

Gnocchi with red sauce and mozzarella cheese

Tortellini with Alfredo sauce

These are quick, cheap meals.  Easily googled!  Share your favorite meatless meals in the comments
