At home summer camp: beach week!

June 5, 2016

This week we are tackling a beach theme in our little at home summer camp.

We plan to round out this week with a trip to the beach, so it seemed like an easy and fun theme for the week.  We aren’t doing everything on this list, but I thought it would give you some good ideas.  I recommend sandbox play and swimming to accompany these ideas!

Celery Stamping Painting (fish)

I just pulled some book suggestions from this list!

This neat salt water experiment

Make these yummy and super cute graham cracker and goldfish snacks!

Go to the beach.

Go swimming

Play with a beach ball.

Fly a kite

Eat popsicles on a beach blanket.

Make these paper plate crafts:  Fish Bowl. or Beach Ball or This Amazing Pineapple.

We also purchased a groupon for a Martial Arts class, so we are doing that for 30 minutes twice a week.  Liam is digging it.

We will make our weekly trip to the library.

Make a sand art piece! Just some glue and art sand.

Beach week doesn’t have to be time consuming or expensive.  You just some beach books, sand, and water!

Share in the comments how your family is doing beach week.  Make sure you’re following me on Instagram to see how we are doing beach week!
