One thing I don’t support is working yourself to the bone for a holiday. That, my sweet readers and friends, is not why we have holidays! We have holidays so we can relax and marvel in our family and friends. So, I’m going to share some brunch hacks!
1) Assemble as much as you can the night before. Chop your fruit, prep your casseroles, devil and dye your eggs. Stick it all in the fridge the night before. Here’s my casserole recipe (and secret ingredient!) 10 eggs, 1 cup of half/half, a pound of browned sausage, 2 cups of shredded cheese (yolo, okay?) 2 tablespoons of the new Coffee-Mate honey cream creamer and garlic powder! Mix it all together in a 9×13 Casserole dish and cook at 375 for 35 minutes.
2) Have the coffee bar on point. You won’t feel bad putting the finishing touches on everything if your guests are still sipping their morning coffee while you guys chat. These new flavors from Coffee-Mate will impress your guests. They are sweetened with honey, so they taste light and fluffy.
3) For all holidays, I recommend the same dishes. Some people buy holiday plates, to that I say no. I have white plates and I pair those with a seasonally appropriate napkin. Way less delicate and easier to store. (or another thing I like to do is stock up on seasonal stuff after the holiday the previous year. Check out those adorable disposable plates I got for a dime!)
4) Enjoy brunch with those you love most!!
I’ve included a bunch of photos below, comment with questions!
PS- you can grab Coffee Mate’s newest creamers at your local Wal-Mart!
