It is unbelievable to me in many ways how quickly this summer went by. My oldest son is going into third grade, so I feel like I’ve got some experience now as it relates to shopping for school. Where to splurge vs. where to skip. I also find that I’m very protective of my time as the boys get older. So, hopefully this round up gives you some suggestions that save you time.

First off, I love this baby girl outfit for the first day and into fall from Target for 10 bucks. There is also a long sleeve version!
For the boys, this shirt is a budget friendly find.

I love these custom pencils and just got a pack for each brother.

This Yeti 12 oz. water bottle is one of the best investments we’ve made for school/life. The kids always fill theirs up before we head out and I love that it is actually long lasting and durable. Learn from my mistake and spend a little more up front.

Same with lunchboxes! We went through three cheap ones last year so I made the executive decision to get a heavier duty one. My boys pack lunch every day, so it makes a little more sense for us. It might be worth evaluating how much you will actually pack lunch.

This is a random find, but I recently kind of by accident stumbled upon this stain remover and it has changed my life. So, order it because school days are messy and this will save your clothes.

I love the Back To School line of cuteness from Cecil & Lou– it’s a little on the higher end, but if you can size up and wear it longer it is so worth it. I loved the 10.00 alphabet pajamas from Old Navy, but they sold out so fast. These alphabet pjs are presh, but cost a little more.

Bookmark this post because I will definitely be updating as we approach August!
