At home summer camp: beach week!

This week we are tackling a beach theme in our little at home summer camp. We plan to round out this week with a trip to the beach, so it seemed like an easy and fun theme for the week.  We aren't doing everything on this list, but I thought it would give you some good ideas.  I recommend sandbox play and swimming to accompany these ideas! Celery Stamping Painting (fish) I just pulled some book suggestions from this list!…

Fruity Creamsicles with PediaSure® Grow & Gain with Fiber

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #2PerDay #CollectiveBias I wanted to kick June off with a fun, summer recipe using PediaSure® Grow & Gain with Fiber!  It's getting warm out here in Oregon, we even went to the splash pad yesterday.  Anyone who has a child whose came below their regular point on a growth curve knows how defeating it can feel.  While it isn't a reflection on your actual parenting,…

The Oregon Zoo

My family had a wonderful time at the Oregon Zoo on Saturday.  We went to their Endangered Spieces day, and it was highly impressive.  The zoo here is outstanding, it's the perfect size.  They have so many opportunities for the kids to get close to the animals.  I felt like we could get close enough, we may actually touch them.  The Oregon Zoo really has some great things in the works right now, they are building a state of the art…

Party Season: Thank you cards!

Parties are wonderful, but a grateful heart is even more wonderful.  From an early age, I want to instill in my children gratitude, appreciation, and kindness.  After each party, I have my children thank guests for their presence and their presents!  Tiny Prints thank you cards, generally corresponding to their birthday party invites, are the perfect way to say thank you.  I'm pretty in love with these cards that facilitate writing, so kids can truly learn how to write thank…
