Working from home with two little kids is equally rewarding and stressful. I am so thankful our new house has an office so I can shut the door and work in peace. I’ve kept the details simple, allowing myself room for creativity and organization. As a special reward to myself, I also got myself a Renuzit® Snuggle® Oil Refill 3pk Linen Escape to use with my current Glade warmer. This was a fun addition because now my office has a unique smell that welcomes me and urges me to sit down, relax, and focus on the task at hand.

No two days are ever the same in my line of work, and that is truly one of my favorite parts of the job. Sometimes, we are traveling to a unique destination and curating content or some days I’m photographing something. I am so grateful that my Renuzit® Snuggle® Oils have created a sense of relaxation in this office of mine. The place where I spend most of my days typing away on my computer, editing photos, and responding to emails still maintains a comfortable feeling of home.

I’ve always been privy to a great product at a great price, which is why I love that these are not only affordable (with a special promotion now on Ibotta) but they are also universal, meaning you don’t have to buy a special dispenser. You’re able to use the one you already have from Glade or Air Wick. Just look for the 3 or 5 count package that says “universal refill” at your local WalMart store.

For me, making my office clutter free was a huge priority. I went through and realistically asked “Will I use this? Or will it distract me?” and any distractions were removed. I grabbed an expensive desk with two drawers to help me manage clutter.

Eliminate distractions – If you work from home, then you probably already know that one of the biggest challenges is when you sit down and remember some random chore you need to tackle. I’ve become intentional about just closing the door and pretending I’m not home.

Consider setting office hours for yourself – This is something I had to do to help me with departmentalizing my home chores with my actual work.Have functional pieces on your wall – We all like things to look beautiful and be decorative in our homes. One thing I like to do is to incorporate really functional pieces into my home’s design. In my office, I have a board I clip things to, a calendar, and a beautiful clock.

Calendars are your friend – I love a good calendar. I usually have two or three laying around. One for the boy’s school, dinner planning, date nights, and one for my blog. Make your workspace a place you love and look forward to visiting. For me, coming into a room that smells like my universal refills from Renuzit® Snuggle®. It just feels so warm and inviting and I love retreating, I mean working, in here every day. Treat yourself to fun work swag – For me, I got some simple business cards and put them in a fun copper recipe box. Grab yourself a cool branded t-shirt or coffee mug.

Add some greenery – My husband got me this fun “simple money tree”. I have loved having a little green in here!
