A Guide To Make Special Moments Special At Home!

We are all navigating this difficult time, we are all absolutely in this together. It has been heart breaking to me to see so many special moments cancelled, because of this pandemic. With graduations and proms cancelled, weddings, and even funerals postponed. It has just been so sad witness these milestone moments take a backseat.

I thought we could spend a little time talking about making moments special, via beautiful snail mail. I have talked about Basic Invite on the blog before. They curated for Liam’s fishing party invitations for us a couple years back, they were lovely quality and such a unique design.

I absolutely think we can honor graduates and value special moments, and wanted to share some suggestions for how to make these people feel special during this scary time.

Host a mailbox graduation party: I’ve seen a few of these being hosted for birthdays and baby showers. Put together a wishlist on a favorite website, send out beautiful stationary inviting friends and family to shower graduates preparing for a new chapter in life to receive beautiful gifts.

Have a trunk party social distance style:
Guests can have things delivered to fill a symbolic trunk!

Take photos!
Have your daughter wear her prom dress! Let your graduate shine in their caps and gowns. Have fun with it, this is a time they will never forget and will absolutely tell their kids about someday. Show that in images, photograph them with hand sanitizer.

Have a drive by parade: You may have seen these for birthday parties, but again it applies here. Honor the years of hard work and determination it’s taken these kiddos by inviting friends and family to decorate their cars and drive around!

Have a Zoom ceremony with family and friends:
Make it fun, make it special, make it silly, make it a memorable as you can.

Don’t forget the cute little Kindergartners! I will be hosting a little kindergarten graduation ceremony for my little guy if he doesn’t go back to school this year.

As you can see Basic Invite has so many incredible products (graduation invitation party templates) to help you honor the milestones in your loved ones life, even from a distance. From: graduation invitations to graduation thank you cards!

Be sure to take advantage of 15% off sitewide with promo code: 15FF51

Basic Invite is one of few sites that offer sample, allowing to see a physical product before placing your order. Additionally, in my experience, they have one of the best selections of colors and paper quality. Lastly, and especially important during this time at home they offer an address capturing service–that allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders.
