New Traditions: Creating the perfect Christmas Eve box!

December 23, 2016

Disclosure:  I received a gift card to Finn + Emma in exchange for an honest review of their products.  All opinions

I love Christmas Eve, the anticipation of Christmas is so high.  We usually go to mass on Christmas Eve and I love to bring my boys home and give them just ONE gift.  This year I made a “Christmas Eve” box for my oldest son’s best friend.  I always include a pair of nice pajamas for my boys, so they wake up in beautiful pajamas for all the Christmas morning photographs to come.  My favorites are from Finn + Emma.  They are organic, and so incredibly soft.  Finn + Emma always makes beautiful pajamas (and other clothes and toys, for that matter!) but their pajamas have always been my favorite.

I like to get the kids a movie, usually a Christmas movie but for this little boy I knew a dinosaur movie was non-negotiable.  He loves Dinosaurs!  I snagged this Dino Dan DVD for 1.00 at a used book store over the summer.

I also thought a fun activity book would make the time go by faster while he wanted on Santa, so I added one of my favorite things from Melissa and Doug.  Their reusable sticker pads!  These usually run only about 5 bucks, but my kids and every other kid I’ve ever given one to LOVE them.  We took one on our forty hour drive this summer for the boys and they had a ball.

I feel like you don’t want these Christmas eve gifts to be too expensive or large, but they can be really special and customized.  Here are some ideas of great ideas

Movies

Books

Activity books

Pajamas

Stickers

Popcorn

Hot Cocoa

Do you guys do this?  I’d love to hear what you include!
