Our activity Advent calendar + a giveaway!

November 16, 2016

Yesterday, I noticed Hobby Lobby had their Christmas and Holiday crafts for 50% off.  I grabbed a very simple Advent craft.  I wrote a fun activity on each card representing days one through twenty five of December.  Very easy to duplicate!

Some of the activities I included:

Watch Elf

Visit the Tree Farm

Bake Cookies for the Neighbors

Make a hot cocoa bar

Read Christmas books

Watch “The Grinch”

Purchase gifts for a family in need.

Make a list of things we are thankful for

Pray over the people in our Christmas cards

This year for advent: I’m going to tell the summer in terms my kiddos can understand.  In years past, I’ve relied heavily on biblical jargon that has been way over my boy’s heads.  I’m keeping my bible verses short and sweet.  I will be sharing each day a piece of the story, and getting my boys thrilled for Christmas day.

I’m going to give away a DVD copy of Dory to win of my fabulous readers.

To enter. Follow me on Instagram and/or comment on this blog post and tell me what you’re excited for this holiday season!
